You purchase Carecoins based on the amount you were planning to spend on Red Umbrella services. Your Carecoins are then divided equally.
50% are donated to your chosen community pot
Every donated Carecoin is used in full to fund therapy and mental health support.
You choose which community or communities you would like to help, including:
- Students and graduates
- Farmers and farming families
- Care workers
- Veterans and their families
The people receiving this support pay nothing.
50% are kept by your organisation
You can use your remaining Carecoins towards Red Umbrella training, Carecoins therapy or other eligible services.
You also receive 50% off eligible Red Umbrella services until the full value of your original Carecoins purchase has been returned to you.
A simple £6,000 example
You were planning to spend £6,000 on training. You purchase 200 Carecoins for £6,000.
£3,000 supports your chosen community
100 Carecoins, worth £3,000, are donated to your chosen community pot.
The full £3,000 is used to provide free therapy and mental health support.
£3,000 remains yours
You keep 100 Carecoins, worth £3,000.
You then book £6,000 of Red Umbrella training.
Because you receive 50% off, your training invoice is reduced from £6,000 to £3,000.
You use your remaining £3,000 of Carecoins to pay that invoice.
